Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) is a System that collects and measure samples directly from the duct or stack discharging pollutants to the atmosphere. Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE) has imposed the requirement to install the CEMS under Regulation 17, Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulation 2014.

All the new and existing CEMS have to be operated and audited according to QAL requirements or EN standards by a qualified CEMS tester.
